We are so proud of these kiddos!
We would like to wish our wonderful principal, Mr. Casteel, and very HAPPY Principal Appreciation Day! We are so grateful to have Mr. Casteel leading our school. He cultivates an environment where all students, families, faculty, and staff feel welcome, safe, and valuable. We are thankful for his commitment to our school and to the well-being of our EK Baker family. The support of our principal and his family makes our school run successfully. Thank you, Mr. Casteel!

In honor of TCAP, these students have been spreading notes of encouragement, motivation, and positivity throughout the school. Our Yellow Jackets have worked extremely hard this week as they take state testing, and we are thankful to have students who are going the extra mile to help encourage others to do their best and to let them know what a great job they're doing!
E.K. Baker Yellow Jackets! We have already completed two days of testing, and you all are doing amazing! We are so proud of your efforts thus far, and we encourage you to finish this TCAP week strong! Here are some affirmations you can remember this week before you take each test. Never forget how capable, able, and smart each of you are!
We would like to thank our very own Brenda Farris and the PTO for providing our faculty and staff with breakfast, lunch, and snacks this TCAP week. We appreciate all you do for our E.K. Baker family!
We would like to recognize the generosity of our community sponsors for helping us purchase some amazing prizes to motivate and reward our students for their efforts on TCAP. All students have the chance to win these prizes by earning tickets this week for effort and attendance; all tickets will be placed in a drawing, and winners will be selected at random! We will announce the winners once we finish TCAP.
